"My inner child, that little girl, she was stuck in a trance.  She was sat in a big green chair, clutching her stuffy, stuck watching her life play on loop. I was trying in so many ways to surrender to the process of healing, releasing – man, the amount of tears I had shed in 20 years could fill oceans – but that was the problem, I was “trying” instead of “being”.
